In 2024, Bacchus parade goers will raise their cups and toast Bacchus atop his float for the Krewe’s 55th parade surrounded by his pages. Bacchus 55 was personified by actor Kevin Dillon. Bacchus is known for his roles on the big and small screen such as Entourage, Poseidon, Platoon, and A Day to Die

Parade starts at 5:15 P.M. on the Sunday before Fat Tuesday
The Bacchus Parade starts at the corner on Napoleon and Tchoupitoulas. After a procession through uptown and downtown New Orleans, the Krewe of Bacchus concludes its parade at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center on the New Orleans riverfront!

Sights and Sounds
The Krewe of Bacchus parade was founded in 1968 by a handful of New Orleans business leaders whose dream was to revitalize Carnival.
The Krewe of Bacchus had left a lasting mark on the City of New Orleans and had proven to be the boost that the Carnival season so desperately needed.
Now, with more than 1,700 members and 35 animated super-floats, the Krewe of Bacchus is revered as one of the most spectacular Krewes in Carnival history.
